This publication proceeds from a series of 6 seminars presented at CCP in 1995. The papers included here aim to undermine the idea of a single canonical history of photography. Instead, they support the idea of multiple histories relating to photography's diverse applications. Each writer in this publication was asked to address the history of photography from their own perspective based around what they consider to be key images. Contributors include Juliana Engberg, Charles Green, Robert Nelson, Paul Fox, Elizabeth Gertsakis, Freda Freiberg, Martyn Jolly, Anne Marsh, Linda-Marie Walker, Gael Newton, Jody Zellen, Deb Verhoeven, Geoff Lowe, Adrian Martin, Peter Tyndall. 88 pages.
